January 15 2009Las Vegas Financing Terror (Economics of Islamic Terror) After 9/11 Las Vegas politicians, top law enforcement officers, and Vegas businessmen swore loud and clear that Las Vegas was not a target for terrorism as they didn’t want to scare away the tourists. Then the Department of Homeland Security began doling out taxpayer money, suddenly all of the politicians, law enforcement officials etc, etc, started crying for a bit of the largess and calling foul. Now that Vegas seems to be teetering on the edge of bankruptcy thanks to the political machine being in the casino industry’s back pocket, and the appointment of unfit friends to positions of power, especially in Homeland Security and housing, Nevada’s erstwhile governor and other corrupt politicians are going to spread the blame and the misery with friendly backslapping and a wink and a nod. They still have no idea why the 9/11 terrorists visited Las Vegas just weeks before the murder of thousands at the WTC In Las Vegas Dubai World, through its Infinity World investments purchased 14.2 million common shares of MGM’s stock for a total of $1/19 billion. It has also agreed to purchase 50% of CityCenter hotel/casino. Are the politicians aware that donations from the casino industry may also be used to finance Islamic terrorism? After 9/11 Ossama bin Laden declared “… concentrate on hitting the U.S. economy through all possible means. Look for the key pillars of the U.S. economy. Strike the key pillars of the enemy again and again and they will fall as one." According to the New York Times Sept. 20, 2007 — “As the Bush administration vowed to vigorously review for national security concerns a proposed investment in the Nasdaq Stock Market by a Dubai-controlled exchange, several senior Democrats and Republicans said Thursday that the transaction did not trouble them and predicted it would be approved.” Senator Charles E. Schumer had this to say about the deal, “At this early stage, this deal gives me pause,” Mr. Schumer said. “While I am and have been a big proponent of foreign investment in the United States, we must still be careful of the kinds of investments made in our critical infrastructure, financial exchanges, utilities and other areas that are vital to the operation and security of our country.” This after DP World, a Dubai company, in 2006, managed to buy a company that managed port operations in America, after heavy criticism of the Bush administration’s handling of that deal, DP World sold the holding. In the 1920s Hassan al-Banna the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood developed the idea of Shariah-based finance to create an Islamic banking system to supersede Western and non-Muslim economies. The Nasdaq deal is troubling since the company Bourse Dubai is the first fully sharia compliant stock exchange and as such must make sure all its trading is purified. This is done by applying a special tax for attaining “tazkiya” of about 20%. Since non-Muslims are not required to pay “zakat’ (2-5%) of their earnings, it is mandatory for foreign banks and oil companies to pay the tax so their earnings are “purified”. Koran 9:103, 92:18 “By spending money in the cause of Allah…” In 2005 Spanish police arrested 10 for providing logistical support, including financing to Islamic groups such as Algerian Salafist Group for Call and Combat, with links to Algerians living in Britain, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands. U.S. imports about sixty percent of its oil, with twenty percent coming from Saudi Arabia our so called friend in the war against terror who gave us the majority of 9/11 hijacking mass murderers, and of course Ossama. While petrodollars from Saudi, Libya, Iran etc are financing Islamic terrorist organizations, the rampant use of drugs by Americans and Europeans is also financing these same terrorists, with Afghanistan leading the world in opium cultivation. OPEC countries are buying not only our corrupt politicians, but control of our ports and large portions of the gaming industry here in Las Vegas, thanks to all the petrodollars we are pumping into their coffers. It is possible today thanks to flex-fuel technology for new cars to operate on a mixture of gasoline, methanol and ethanol at a cost of less than $500 per vehicle. Methanol can be readily produced from coal and the other two from biomaterials sufficient amounts of which can be bought from third world countries in Asia and Africa, thus helping their economies and slashing the millions in petro-terror dollars to Islamic countries that support the destruction of all non-Muslim countries. Support and financing for Islamic terrorist organizations also comes in the form of ‘zakat’ (obligatory donations) funds from mosques in the name of helping so called refugees in Gaza, the West Bank, Pakistan, Kashmir, and other Muslim communities at war with their neighbors. The age old practice of ‘hundi or hawala’ (transfer of money for a fee) is carried out by ‘hawaldars’ (dealers) who do not use banks and other forms of wire transfers, but use an ingenious method which has totally fooled governments who have tried to crack down on terrorist funding. The practice which originated in India by Muslim money dealers is simple and tested. For example a mosque in Las Vegas wishes to transfer $500,000 to the terrorist group Lashkar-e-Toiba in Pakistan, all the imam has to do is approach a hawaldar with the money, pay a percentage of the money to be transferred, and the deal is done. Using code in emails or on the phone, the hawaldar will let his contact (usually a family member) in Lahore, Pakistan, (or any other city) know how much and to whom money has to be paid. Larger sums usually call for a trip by the hawaldar’s trusted ones to the country of destination, and a time for fact finding as to the political and financial situation of that country. Financing methods:
After the initial 2001 sweep of Islamic charities in the U.S. that were supporting terrorist activity, recently more such organizations have been caught with their bloody hands in the terrorism jar – Care International’s officers were convicted of tax fraud, and members of the Islamic American Relief Agency are under indictment Hezbollah, or ‘Party of Allah’ a Muslim Shiite organization which was formed in 1982, has as its main goal the total destruction of Israel, and the formation of a Shiite state in Lebanon. It is heavily supported by Iran, and Syria, who have been supporting the killing of Americans in Iraq. In 1983 the U.S. Marine barracks in which 241 Marines died, was carried out under a fatwa issued by Sheikh Fadlallah the spiritual chief of Hezbollah. According to Steven Emerson’s research Hezbollah networks here in the states have engaged in lucrative criminal activity such as “cigarette smuggling, human smuggling, drug trafficking, counterfeiting and charitable work”. Fadlallah, and Syed Hassan Nasrallah the Secretary General of Hezbollah, have been given the esteemed title of “specially designated terrorists” by the U.S. government. In the Charlotte NC cigarette smuggling case Hizbollah members would buy cigarettes in NC and sell them in Michigan without paying taxes which are higher there. The leader fo the group Mohammed Youssef Hammoud, who was convicted in 2002 for money laundering, immigration law violations, bribery, and trafficking in contraband, was found to have links with Nasrallah CITGO gas stations get their gas from CITGO petroleum a Venezuelan owned company, Venezuela is a member of OPEC and a strong sympathizer of Hezbollah and Iran. Shell, Exxon Mobil, Chevron, BP Amoco, Valero, Marathon and Conoco Phillips get their oil from the Saudis, supporters of all Sunni Muslim terrorist organizations. We need more brave individuals like my friend Alex Porter at terrorfreeoil.org
Terror-Free Oil Initiative is dedicated to encouraging Americans to buy gasoline that originated from countries that do not export or finance terrorism. Solutions There are a number of solutions to keep us from financing terror such as:
